501. 1932-1933 Sanella Margarine (Germany) Card Set Including Rare Babe Ruth (Type 2 issue). 112 Cards neatly glued into proper places in original album (Cards include: Auto Racing, Japanese Catcher, Boxing, Track & Field, Hockey, Golf, Aviation, Horse Racing, and many others). These 2¾x4” Color cards are very striking and if they could be removed would show an ad on backs for Sanella margarine. The key card is Babe Ruth, and the one is this album is very beautiful, at least Vg/Ex. (the six-sport Hager guide lists this Ruth for $250 to $500 in this grade). Since the set is in German, we’re not sure who some of the athletes are (maybe Bobby Jones?). NICE ITEM! (125)
