Auction Info

Minimum Bids are listed next to item in ( ). Please make your bids in multiples of $5 (i.e.: $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, etc). You may bid a range (i.e.: min. $20, max $120).

Bids by phone 800-367-4255 (outside Ma.), or 781-595-7757  (please only call between 8AM and 9PM EST any day prior to auction day. On auction day you may call during hours prior to live event starting. 

15% is added to all winning bids.   Shipping & Handling charges added to items that are shipped (minimum s/h charge is $5.00; larger or heavy shipments may require professional packing and/or additional costs)

We accept major credit cards.  We also accept personal checks (may be held to clear) & money orders.


Hall's Nostalgia Auction Rules (Revised Jan. 1, 2007)

1.  All bidders are responsible for reading and understanding these rules before participating in the auction.

2.  Attendees at the public auction must register for a bidding number to participate in the auction (absentee bidders are assigned a number by Hall's Nostalgia).

3.  A 15% Charge will be added to all winning bids.

4.  You may leave a bid prior to the auction, by telephone, fax, mail, e-mail, or in person at auction preview. A member of our auction staff will bid for the "left bidders" (absentee bidders).

5.  Starting bids are noted next to each description in ( ), otherwise will be at auctioneers discretion. All bids are at discretion of auctioneer.

6.  A minimum charge of $5.00 for shipping and handling and insurance will be added to merchandise mailed to auction winner in Continental U.S. - Some heavy items require additional charge. Most items mailed Priority Mail. Some shipments that require special packaging may take 2-3 weeks.

7. If you are the high bidder on an item and are present, you must pay and pick it up at the auction. We reserve the right to hold any items paid for by check until check clears.

8.  All items are described to the best of our ability. We have been in business more than 30 years, and have extensive knowledge of Sports Memorabilia, However, Please use the preview as all items are sold "as is" with no returns. (Autographs carry limited guarantee to pass PSA/DNA or JSA authentication - see more info below). Under certain circumstances, if in our opinion, an item has been mis-described, we will allow a 7 day return policy. You must call first. No item can be returned for grading. Grading is subjective and we consider ourselves conservative graders. Third party opinion (grading services, etc) will not be allowed as basis for returns.

9. In very unusual circumstances (e.g. blizzard, power failure, etc) the list of items in the catalog may not be sold in its entirety.

10.  6.25% MA. sales tax will be charged to Massachusetts Residents unless you have a resale number.

11.  We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards in payment for winning bids. We prefer credit cards for absentee bidders. Anyone paying by check must remit payment within 7 days.

12.  Certificates of authenticity for autographs sold will be provided with lot description only (upon request).

All Autographs carry a limited guarantee to pass PSA or JSA certification.
 1) You must obtain PSA or JSA opinions within 30 days of auction close.
     No refunds can be given after 45 days of auction day for any reason.
 2) You are responsible for all costs involved in seeking of 3rd party opinion.
     We will provide our own COA?s - Any other opinions are at your option.
 3)  No other 3rd party opinion will be accepted - only PSA or JSA
      Sorry, But we will not accept any other authenticator?s opinions.
 4) If you receive an unfavorable opinion, then the paperwork from PSA or       
    JSA must be returned along with the autograph item to us no later than 45
    days from auction close. No returns allowed after 45 days from auction!
 5) In the event a refund is necessary, we will only refund the hammer price   
    and any sales tax and shipping charges that were applicable at time of  
    purchase. We will not refund the 15% service fee that was added to the
    hammer price.
 6) You are bidding in an AS IS auction. No Authenticator is perfect. They
     use exemplars and hand-writing analysis to determine an OPINION.
     If you feel our qualified opinion is not sufficient, then we offer as a
     courtesy this limited guarantee for your added protection. We do not
     knowingly sell autographs that are not genuine. We only sell autographs
     we are confident are authentic, and we provide our own Certificate of
     Authenticity upon request. We are an auction service, bringing Buyers
     and Sellers together for a fee. Generally we do not own the autographs we
     sell. We do reject a great deal of the autographs that are offered to us, so
     you can feel confident with your purchase from Hall?s Nostalgia Auctions.
     All Auction Rules still apply - Refunds are at our discretion, and we reserve   
    the right to reject any and all bids.
